In the first half, Morocco, playing away, quickly asserted their dominance, grabbing a two-goal lead within just three minutes. Ben Seghir found the net first in the 34th minute and then again in the 37th minute, putting his team in control.
The second half continued with Morocco’s momentum, as they weren’t satisfied with just two goals. They added two more in the next 45 minutes: the third goal came from a confidently converted penalty by Fenerbahçe’s En-Nesyri, followed by Abde from Real Betis sealing the deal with the final goal.
With this victory, Morocco has secured their qualification and remains at the top of Group B in the AFCON 2025 Qualifiers with a total of 12 points, while the Central African Republic sits in third place with only three points
